Friday Favorites
We had a date night last night, finished the second week of school, and have a long weekend! 🙂 Please and thank you! 🙂
One.
In my What’s Up Wednesday post, I talked about my newfound obsession with podcasts. What are some of your favorite podcasts?! I spend a lot of time in the car, just based on my commute…so I’m all ears! 🙂
Two.
I also talked about one of my favorite restaurants in this post. If you are close to (or want to take a little vacay) to Cape May, New Jersey, do yourself a favor and visit the Blue Pig! It’s a farm to table restaurant and their food is SO tasty!
Three.
Urban Southern reached out to me about writing an article for their blog from a teacher’s perspective. I was so honored and loved this idea. I said yes in a heartbeat because I love their company for not only their bags, but what they stand for. You can check out the article, here! They are wonderful women that are building a great community. 🙂

It’s a FOUR day weekend! Wooohooo!
Five.
Date nights are one of my favorite things. I love being able to put all work, housework, etc. aside and just enjoy time spent together. Whenever Eric and I go on a date though, we always end up going to a restaurant. I really do love trying new restaurants and even going back to some of our favorites. However, when I try to think of something else other than dinner for a date night, I get stumped. I know there are a million Pinterest ideas out there but I wanted to ask you what some of your favorite date night ideas are! 🙂
Happy Labor Day Weekend! 🙂

Alright, so I completely dove headfirst into podcasts. Eric listens to them on his commute and talks about them a lot. But my old car didn’t have bluetooth. (I know?) But I now spend my 45 minute commute listening my heart out to a ton of different podcasts and not wanting the drive to end. I’m obsessed.
Although I’m not a fan of the cold, I’m also really excited about pumpkin everything. It’s warm and cozy and who doesn’t love that?!
The last few weeks before school started, I loved watching Ellen in the afternoon. You can always count on her for a good laugh.
This book talks about how how language is the most powerful teaching tool in the classroom. I think it also can apply to every area of life and how our language can cultivate community wherever we are. You can buy it

…then I would walk all around Cape May and park it on the beach with a sunny sky…
…I would somehow transport us toÂ

…and end the day with a walk on the beach. 🙂
THAT is what my perfect day would include!
Happy Monday friends! We had the best weekend working around the house, and being outside! It was gooooorgeous! I hope you had a great weekend and are ready for the week ahead! 🙂
Last weekend, we had a blast celebrating one of my closest friends, Ashley getting married! Everything from the weather to the flowers and everything in between was stunning! She gave usÂ
