Friday Favorites: Nursery Reveal

From the light and airy feel to the sweet babe in the crib, Capri’s nursery was so fun to decorate and fill. I’m not sure how it has already been six weeks of filling this space with memories, but the last half a dozen weeks sure have been memorable. It feels like a lifetime ago that we were anxiously awaiting what color palette would be in the nursery and here we are, months later, soaking it all in with our sweet girl. I told you this post was coming for a little while now…better late than never, right? I’m starting off my favorites from this week with food..shocker! 😉 Who has had Cheese Whisps before?! I can’t believe I haven’t added these as a favorite before though because I have been obsessed with them for a few months now. I’ve tried both both brands (here and here), each flavor, and love them all the same. 🙂

Two.So. Good.

Three.I just love them. So much.

Four.Eric and I had a date night last Friday and it was so much fun!

Five.Ladies, I got this shirt recently and can’t stop wearing it. It’s SO soft and comfortable. Go buy it now.

June 2018

In some ways June came and went in the blink of an eye and in other ways it felt like a month filled with change and milestones all in one. It has been a great month and looking back after recapping this month will always be so sweet. 🙂

Each day there is something new and I am loving it!

Happy Wednesday and here’s to July! 🙂

A Walk in the Park

There are two things Eric and I really love: Going for walks and food. Capri makes it known that she loves both as well. 🙂 So when you plan on meeting friends at a park for a walk and food, it’s a win all around for our new family of 3. Since Capri is only a month old, (as of tomorrow!) we thought we’d bring along some Stonyfield Organic Kids Yogurt Pouches for her older friends to have. 🙂 (The pouches look so tasty that I almost snuck one the other day myself!) Since the sun was shining, I lathered little Pri in sunscreen (Badger is my favorite) and we headed out!

Both the snack and sunscreen are from companies that are B-corp certified (you can read more about what that is here) so I was one happy mama as we headed out the door for our first playdate with these things in tow. I packed some fruit and added a, Summer Fruit Salad “recipe” that you can throw together for your next get together as well!

Sunscreen for all the babes, yogurt pouches for the toddlers, and fruit salad for the adults. Happy picnic-ing and summer!

Friday Favorites

One. My best friend gave me this devotional (Embraced: 100 Devotions to Know God Is Holding You Close) and it came at the perfect time. It’s encouraging, inspirational, and can be a quicker read as I adjust to life with a newborn. 🙂

Two.My Chocolate Covered Strawberry Smoothie.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie.

Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp.

My Very Berry Smoothie Bowl.

We continue to get a million and one strawberries over here. If you’re in the same boat and need some ways to use them, I have you covered!

Three. My Bacon and Spinach Quiche is a favorite around here lately.

Four.

Multiple friends of mine said how much they love their Milk Snob. It can be used to cover the car seat and block sun, etc., as a nursing cover, or when you’re out and about using a cart somewhere. I have mainly used it on walks to block the sun, when I’m at one of Eric’s games if there isn’t shade, or as a nursing cover. It is perfect for all the things I mentioned. I’m a huge fan!

Five.

This sunscreen is an absolute favorite. I used to use a different brand until I found out that it wasn’t the best for my skin at all. I have used this the past three summers and love it!
