Friday Favorites

It’s Friday and I have some favorites to share along with Erika, Narci, and Andrea!

One.

Ultra Repair Cream/ Clarisonic Mia 2/ Hand Towel/ Face Cleanser/ Clarisonic Delicate Brush Head Replacement/ Face Moisturizer

I know I’ve talked about First Aid Beauty time and time again. If you’re new around here, a few months ago I switched my skin care routine. I was hesitant to chage because of how sensitive my skin is but I really wanted to use products with less chemicals. I was blown away with how soft my skin was after using F.A.B and haven’t looked back! 🙂

Ultra Repair CreamI use this on my hands/arms in the morning and before bed. It goes on really thick, sinks in, and isn’t greasy afterwards! It keeps your skin so soft and can be used on any dry spot.

Clarisonic Mia 2 This beauty deep cleans my face and leaves it feeling silky smooth.

Hand Towel– After cleaning my face at the end of the day, I like to use a dark colored hand towel in case there is still any make-up remaining. Nothing makes me more sad than getting mascara on a white towel. 🙁

Face CleanserThis takes away all the grime!

Clarisonic Delicate Brush Head ReplacementSince I’ve had the Mia, I’ve used this replacement brush and liked it. I went to Sephora the other day and decided to try the delicate brush head replacement and LOVE it! It’s gentle on my skin and I don’t plan on going back anytime soon!

Face MoisturizerI put this on my face right after I get out of the shower and before bed after washing it. A little goes a long way!

Two.Easy Guacamole--Recipe at: stephanie-spring.comThis easy guacamole is without a doubt, a favorite. You can find the recipe, here!

Three.

On Tuesday, my sister and I took a trip to Hersheypark for the day! Because, why not?!

Four.I’m just saying…I wasn’t a fan, and then all of the sudden, I love them! So cute.

Five.We got the this mortar and pestle from Williams-Sonoma as a wedding gift last year. We use it to make guacamole for the two of us or any party. I love the look of it and how sturdy it is!

Here are some other ones I found that I absolutely love! Click the arrow to see more! 🙂

We have a super busy weekend ahead of us. Here goes nothing! 😉 Happy Friday!

Friday Favorites

I’m not sure what the weather is like where you are, but it sure is cloudy here in PA! It’s the perfect day to stay in my pajamas a little longer, light a candle, and pour an extra cup of coffee! This week was jam packed with to-do lists but I must say, I’m going to rest a little longer today, knowing I accomplished almost all of it! Friday never starts without some favorites over here and with Erika, Narci, and Andrea! Relax and read away!

One.

On Wednesday I went on an unexpected, deep cleaning spree. If cleaning were a love language, it would probably rank pretty high on my list. 😉 These are just some of my favorite products that helped me tackle those hidden dust bunnies and crumbs room by room.

Two.Blueberry Yogurt Pops Recipe at: stephanie-spring.com

You know how I blogged about my Blueberry Yogurt Pops last week, right? Over the weekend I got a message from Bruna about how much her sweet girl loved these! It made my day! I love hearing from all of you!

Three.

I have been humming the song, “None But Jesus” by Hillsong non-stop this week. I’ve also been singing it when no one is around. 😉

Four.I need your advice. When I was studying abroad, my friend and I visited Milan, Italy and loved it! As in, it was one of my favorite vacations! Eric and I plan on visiting Italy next summer, we’re stumped on where exactly. We have thrown around the thought of Tuscany, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast. Any suggestions or tips?!

Five.

My sister-in-law sent me this on Wednesday. After sitting down and transporting myself to Stars Hollow, I frantically text because I thought the episodes aired in October! I was obviously so wrong but I’m kind of excited about this unexpected twist! We now know what our Black Friday plans involve. 🙂

Happy Friday and congrats to Heather Sebastian on being the winner of the lemon essential oil! Thank you so much to everyone who entered! 4 fridays

Friday Favorites + Blueberry Yogurt Pops

I love Fridays. So much. Here’s to the weekend and my favorites with Erika, Narci, and Andrea!

One.

Here’s the deal. You know that pen/pencil/marker that you just love writing with? The one you always reach for and would be so sad if they ran out? These are my favorite! I used them during student teaching a few years ago and fell in love. Well, they just ran out. With such a small price tag and so much excitement, these showed up on my doorstep this week. Completely random? Yes. Totally worth it when I have a million lists to write? Absolutely! 🙂 You can get a pack of five, here!

Two.

I’ve been shopping for wedding and baby gifts like it’s my job. So much happiness to indulge in! The last five gifts have been delivered to my doorstep and I love it. So thankful for free shipping! 😉 Check them all out because I can’t be the only one in the midst of wedding and baby season!

Three.

Scale_largeLast weekend we stumbled upon this store that is awesome! They have such unique pieces and Eric and I both wanted to buy all of it!

Four.

The other night I was flipping through the Dessert of the Day book from Williams Sonoma that is always on our coffee table. The recipes and pictures are wonderful and having a seasonal dessert for every day of the year is so fun!

Five.
Blueberry Yogurt Pops Recipe at: stephanie-spring.comIt has been H-O-T here! What should I do with an overwhelming amount of blueberries? Make them into popsicles of course! 😉 The creaminess of the yogurt and fresh blueberry taste creates a punch in your mouth that is refreshing for any summer day, stifling hot or not! 😉 Blueberry Yogurt Pops Recipe at: stephanie-spring.comBlueberry Yogurt Pops Recipe at: stephanie-spring.comBlueberry Yogurt Pops Recipe at: stephanie-spring.comBlueberry Yogurt Pops Recipe at: stephanie-spring.com

  • 1/2 cup blueberries

*Makes four popsicles.*

What to do:

In a medium-sized bowl, mix the yogurt and blueberries with a spoon. Once combined, spoon into the popsicle molds. When each popsicle holder is filled, carefully tap the holder to eliminate air bubbles and space. Place in the freezer for at least four hours or until frozen.

Friday Favorites + Ginger Mule

It’s Friday! Although my weeks are a much, much slower pace than the school year, there is still something about the weekend and I love it! As always, I’m linking up with Erika, Narci, and Andrea to share my favorites things from this week!

One.

We got these {rooster, pig} hand towels as a wedding gift. They have grown to become two of my favorite hand towels. They are super soft and absorbent. I love having them displayed. 🙂

Two.Our one anniversary is this Sunday. Ah! I love him ten times more now than I did a year ago. 🙂

Three.

{Check out this drink. I’m kind of, sort of, obsessed with it.}

Ginger Mule Recipe at: stephanie-spring.comGinger Mule Recipe at: stephanie-spring.comI was convinced I didn’t like gin. I told Eric he could make his own concoctions and I’d settle on wine. I was so wrong. All it took was one sip of his drink because I wanted to venture out for 0.2024 seconds, and I found myself stealing two, then three sips. He finally looked at me and smiled as he got up to make me one. A ginger mule….what?! It’s the cousin of a Moscow mule; Similar, yet different and ever so tasty and refreshing. See for yourself!Ginger Mule Recipe at: stephanie-spring.com Ginger Mule Recipe at: stephanie-spring.com

 Ingredients:

    • 2 oz. Gin
    • Ginger Beer
    • 10 Mint Leaves (plus an extra sprig for garnish)
    • 1 oz. Lime Juice
    • Ice

What to do:

Pour the lime juice into a shaker and add mint leaves. Muddle the mint leaves in the lime juice. Add gin and top shaker with ice. Shake for about 20 seconds. Strain into a highball glass with additional ice. Top with ginger beer and garnish with the remaining mint. Relax, sip, and enjoy!

Check out all these fun cocktail shakers and mugs to put them in. You can use any glass or mug but these would make it extra fun for a party or just to have on hand. 🙂

Four.

I always get excited about a giveaway and next week is no different! Be sure to check back and see what’s in store! 😉 It’s great for you, smells amazing, and has endless possibilities! Any guesses as to what you think it might be?!

Five.

Yesterday I took a run outside and used an arm band to hold my phone and play music. I haven’t used it in almost a year because I like running inside on the treadmill and set my phone there. But for running outside, this was definitely a game changer and allowed me to focus on running, rather than making sure I don’t drop my phone. I got mine a few years ago but here are some similar ones that I love!

*Pssstt! You know how I talked about this tunic last week? It’s on sale and I’ve worn it twice this week because I love it so much. Shh! Don’t judge.* 😉

Happy Friday beauties!

Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites 01I decided to take the week off from blogging. It was so nice BUT I missed all of you!

Today, I’m linking up with these beauties: Erika, Narci and Andrea. I guess I did some shopping on my week off. 😉 Take a peak!

One.I got this shirt and love it! It can be worn so many different ways and to be honest, the picture doesn’t do it justice for how cute it is!

Two.Christmas FireplaceI started Christmas shopping and I’m way too excited about it! I wanted to start early and take advantage of my extra time this summer so i can enjoy the holiday season a little more. 😉 Christmas in July anyone?

Three.

These leggings from the Loft are on sale right now!

Four.

I got the best massage yesterday. I think I may still be in heaven. 🙂

Five.I bought this shirt before leaving for Colorado, thinking it would be a good summer shirt. It’s become my favorite summer shirt and I completely underestimated just how much I would wear it. As in, I would reach for it everyday if I didn’t see the same people several days in a row. 😉 I went back for two more last weekend in grey and white!

*I go to the store to buy these since they are normally in stock there!*

Have the best Friday and be sure to check back on Monday for my Lemon Lara Bar recipe!
