Happy Friday! As always, I’m linking up with Erika, Narci, and Andrea for our favorites! Apparently peanut butter has been a favorite lately based on this post. 😉

They are perfect for this weekend, no matter what your plans are. Did I mention they’re easy to make? 😉 Homemade Peanut Butter Lara Bars--Recipe at: stephanie-spring.comHomemade Peanut Butter Lara Bars--Recipe at: stephanie-spring.com

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pitted dates (I cut mine in half to make it easier in the processor)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (I used Justin’s)

What to do:

Pour dates and peanut butter into the food processor. Pulse a few times and then on low or until it starts forming together into a sticky mixture. Line an 8 x 8 pan (or really any pan) with wax paper. I used a spatula to flatten the mixture into an even consistency in the pan. Smooth out the top and edges. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Cut to desired width. Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator or counter.

Two.screen-shot-2016-09-08-at-5-02-14-pmOur school had their annual night at our local baseball stadium! It is so fun and was gorgeous! Minus a few raindrops. 🙂

You know the drill. It’s Friday and I’m sharing my favorites with Erika, Narci, and Andrea!

One.5628Recently I stopped seeing my first love. Peppermint mocha creamer. I used to put it in my coffee every morning but couldn’t handle all the sugar any more. I have loved using a splash of almond milk and two drops of peppermint oil. It completely does the trick and I’m in heaven all over again. 🙂

Five.Caprese Bites Recipe at: stephanie-spring.comCaprese Bites stephanie-spring.com Caprese Bites stephanie-spring.comSome things just taste better bite-sized. These were so fun to make and a ten out of ten for any party. Not to mention, I was filing this away for the day we have kids and the assembly line that could be created. In three simple steps, you have a yummy appetizer at your finger tips. The ingredients can be tailored to your liking of size and proportion. Another perk: With the overflow of tomatoes and basil, you can whip these up in a few minutes for a Labor Day party!

  • Mozzarella Cheese (cut into bite-sized squares)

Friday Favorites

You’ll find me here every Friday with Erika, Narci, and Andrea for our favorites. Here we go! 🙂

One.

The other day, a friend and I were talking about school lunches. Since I’m a teacher and always pack my lunch, she was wondering what I normally take since her oldest is going into first grade. She mentioned that she bought a yumbox for both her girls and now I kind of want to get one for myself! How neat are they?! They have cut out’s for each portion of food and they come in all different colors! 🙂

Two.I thought this was coming out in November until a friend text me a told me otherwise! Naturally I ordered it and spent yesterday with it in my hand. 🙂

Three.IMG_6665Over the last several years this has become one of my favorite verses. I was reminded of it this week and thought I’d share. 🙂

Four.IMG_6666I can’t wait for these to arrive on my doorstep! 😉 Perfect timing for back to school!
