Praise the Lord for Fridays. Oh, and thank Jesus for coffee to help me get to Friday. 😉

One.
I got this cookbook a few years ago and there is one recipe I go back to again and again. Late Summer Farro, Butternut Squash, and Arugula Salad is a favorite. I made it last year and this year for our Friendsgiving and it’s a crowd pleaser. 🙂

Two.I have been watching Hallmark Christmas movies like it is my job. I turn it on right when I get home and let it play throughout the evening. It makes me so happy. 🙂

Three.

Speaking of Christmas. I got our Christmas decor out this week and our home is feeling extra cozy because of it! I went a little reindeer crazy last year. I bought a reindeer figure, pillow, and stocking holders. (All similar in links). Throw in some Christmas balls and lights and we’re set in the Spring household.

Four.

I have talked about sweaters similar to this before because they are a favorite! I wore a sweater yesterday that is basically a combo of these two meshed into one from a previous season. It is SO comfortable, easy to mix and match, and to dress up or down. I basically want to order both of these now too. 😉

Friday Favorites + Urban Southern

This week has been filled with a lot of Christmas music to keep somewhat of a hop in my step. 😉 Here’s to the a fun-filled weekend that involves a 5K, Friendsgiving, and a lot of relaxing all weekend long. 🙂

One. I heard of the company Urban Southern from Andrea’s blog and fell in love with their bags. Their bags are made of impeccable craftmanship, beautiful leather, and are so spacious! It can hold some of my favorite goodies plus my huge blanket scarf. Win- win. 😉 I am head over heels with my new sidekick and it is by far my favorite bag I have ever received. Two.

This showed up as I was scrolling through Instagram the other day and I got so excited. These used to be my favorite episodes! I love Oprah’s Favorite Things. 🙂

Three.Can we talk about this Thanksgiving side dish?! I had to hold myself back from eating the entire serving I made. Recipe, here!

Four.I used another brand for a little and now I’m back at it. Favorite, here!

Five.My friend and I met for coffee at a bakery we have never been to. Best decision ever! It was the coziest of spots and was all decked out for Christmas. (Which I obviously loved). So fun to catch up and try and hold myself back from ordering one of everything.

I know I’m late to the party but I completely forgot to add this to last week’s favorites! Three people sent me this within an hour of each other and it made me giggle. I guess people know my love for Gilmore Girls. 🙂 SO EXCITED!

We had two days of meetings this week which was a nice change of pace. 🙂

Friday Favorites

We made it to Friday, so it’s basically the weekend. After today, I will be changing into some pajamas and cozying up on the couch. Then, I will be dancing my heart out at a wedding on Saturday night! I hope everyone has a fun and relaxing weekend ahead!

One.

Last night I went to Sephora and thought about possibly trying a new mascara. Buuuut Cliniques High Impact Mascara has been tried and true. It lasts all day, doesn’t smudge, and is easy to take off at night. I love it and always buy it in “Black 01.”

Two.

On our coffee table, I have a candle holder that is basically a modge podge of this holder and this one. The one we own isn’t in stock anymore or else I’d be sharing it with you in a heartbeat! Each season I try to fill it with something seasonal and love it!

Three.

My Taco Soup has perfect for this time of year. 1. It’s easy to make. 2. I love taking it to my friends after they just had a baby. 🙂 3. It freezes great! 4. It’s delicious! You find find the recipe, here!

Four.

This verse stuck out this week and was extremely comforting.

“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16: 33.

Friday Favorites

First, I know it’s not like me to go this long without responding to comments because I truly love hearing from each and every one of you! The last few weeks have seemed to pile up and I’ve really tried to be intentional about being in the moment and slowing down. So much easier said than done, right? But I’m trying. This week was filled with so many warm, fuzzy moments. I’m so thankful for positive doctor reports, all the people I celebrated my birthday with, near and far, and for an 80 degree day for my birthday! I considered it a present from God himself. 😉 Thank you to each and every reader for taking some time to stop by this space. I promise I will be responding so soon! 😉 Now….onto my favorites for this Friday!

One.I got these boots this week and I’m kind of obsessed with them. They’re kind of out of the norm for me and I think that makes me love them even more!

An extrememely sweet co-worker made me peppermint brownies for my birthday! I think I died and went to heaven. They were AMAZING!

We are having a “Spook-tacular” luncheon for the teachers on Halloween and I was in charge of decorations this year. Although Halloween is not my favorite, it was so fun picking out a few “spooky” things! 😉
