Friday Favorites

I hope everyone had a great week and has an even better Friday. Here’s to my five favorites of the week before conquering Friday and coming home to pizza, blankets, and sleep. ๐Ÿ™‚

One.I went on a tiny shopping spree and got this new blush at Sephora. I love it and it’s name, “paaarty”…

Two.…and thisย for your lips in the color, “birthday suit”. It is subtle but noticeable…

Three.…and some pink shimmer eye shadow powder that will be fun for the holidays. You can buy the entire palette, here!

Four.

Friends are coming to town this weekend and I can’t wait! ๐Ÿ™‚

Five.Sundays have become one of my favorite times lately. I’ve been letting myself sleep in a little bit but then I still have a about two hours before we leave for church. I have been listening to music, sipping coffee, and making some food. It’s so nice. ๐Ÿ™‚ I realized I haven’t made my homemade granola in a little while, so last Sunday that’s exactly what I made! xo

On the busiest of weeks, Friday feels even more amazing. Although, I took off yesterday for some R & R and let me tell you…it was the best! I slept 11 hours (I know?!), went shopping, met Eric for lunch, and just relaxed. It was definitely a favorite of the week!

Two.
Ladies, this sweater is $30 from the loft and so functional. You can mix and match it for the holidays and even after.

Three.…and this sweater! ๐Ÿ™‚

I talked about this on Wednesdayย but have definitely dug deeper into the study since then. It has been really eye-opening to do a study again to switch things up and I love her heart throughout each page!

Five.I made my pumpkin bread this week and it is just so dang good!

What fun fall plans do you have this weekend?

It was possibly the sweetest thing he has ever done and the weekend was perfect! Incredible food, amazing weather, and just quality time away. ๐Ÿ™‚ I posted a few more pictures, here.

Two.Once you start making my quiche, you won’t stop!

All the birthday love was so sweet and I definitely felt so loved! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Yesterday my heart kept growing heavier with a lot of news. I am just so thankful that God knows our tomorrow’s and that there is always something to be grateful for.

Four.It rained a lot this week, which was perfect for my Easy Tomato Soup. Pair it with some grilled cheese for your weekend or a weeknight next week! ๐Ÿ™‚

Five.

My sister and I used to LOVE this movie and it’s always fun to rewatch this time of year. ๐Ÿ™‚

I pray your Friday is a great one filled with movies, blankets, and a bowl of soup! xo

Friday Favorites

It. Is. Friday! Yay! We had parent-teacher conferences (which I love!) on Wednesday and Thursday which leads me to my very first favorite of this week…

One.

…I am probably still sleeping as you read this. ๐Ÿ™‚ That my friends, is a favorite after a long week! We also have off for Columbus Day so I am SUPER thankful for a four-day weekend to catch up on life. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’m also almost positive that anyone who knows me well can vouch that I need my sleep! Ha!

Two. I also did two activities this week with my students that have been of FAVORITE of the year so far. I feel like students need many different representations of fractions as possible to really grasp the idea of what a fraction is. I found this fun activity and the kids had a blast making the kites! ๐Ÿ™‚

Three. Thanks to Andrea, I also talked to my class about the importance of brightening someones day. We made these cards and the kids were SO sweet and excited about them! It made my week! ๐Ÿ™‚

Four.

My No-Bake Pumpkin Cocoa Energy Bites are so simple and festive for this time of year. Who doesn’t want some pumpkin, chocolate, and energy?!

Five.I’ve been clinging to this verse all week. Have a great Friday everyone!
