Friday Favorites

This week was BUSY! Busy, busy, busy! Between errands, school prep, and trying to set my alarm much earlier…I cannot believe it is the last full week of summer!

BUT, it’s Friday and we have a date night planned and a fun weekend ahead! All is well in life. πŸ™‚

One.

On Tuesday we had family friends over who we don’t see the often. We caught up, ate pizza, and played some games. Who remembers the game Taboo?! I have not played it in FOREVER and we all were dying laughing! So much fun! πŸ™‚

Two.

Eric is on our church softball team (which I think I mentioned before?!) and they have made it to the championship this year! It is such a fun group of people and I loved watching their final games this week! πŸ™‚

Three.

I debated about mentioning this but I couldn’t help it. A few months ago I bought this USB diffuser to use in the car, since I have a long commute during the school year. In my mind, I mainly thought that is where I would use it. Until..I brought it to school with me this week. I put it in my computer as I was doing work and loved the scent. πŸ™‚ I plugged away on my laptop as it diffused right there and I was in love! Also, aren’t the colors so cute? πŸ˜‰

Four.We added one of my favorite salsas on some tacos this week! Yum!

Five.I think we have watched one, if not two, episodes every night this week! Such a fun show! The accents get me every time!

Happy Friday! xoxo

Friday Favorites

This week was a whirlwind!

I did find sometime though to update my shop page and it lists a TON of my favorite things!

Throughout my blog I scattered some of my very favorite products. However, I thought it would be fun to compile them all together in one place for everyone to access to them. If you simply click on the picture, it will take you directly to the product. Almost all the links (if not all?!) are via Amazon. Eric and I looooove Amazon Prime and if you don’t have it, you should definitely consider getting it! I will occasionally update it with new things but I included an array of products that I have on hand. One of my favorite things that I added was what’s in our pantry. I love seeing ingredients people use regularly. πŸ™‚

Β

Of course if you have any questions, send me an e-mail or leave a comment on here! You can check out the shop page HERE and it will always be available on my home page…

Happy Friday everyone! In case you didn’t have breakfast yet and need an idea…here you go!

And for all the teachers out there, I hope you are soaking in every last minute of free time! πŸ™‚

Friday Favorites

This week was strange. It was hot and humid one day, then overcast and felt like a fall day the next! But it’s Friday and we have a fun weekend ahead with friends and family. πŸ™‚

One.

Alright blondes…I need your opinion! There have been a few lovely ladies I’ve talked to lately who have mentioned they use purple shampoo and conditioner. It helps hold your blonde in a lot longer without fading. I loooove the sound of this! Has anyone tried it? If so, what are some of your favorite brands? I’ve heard Joico’s shampoo and conditioner are great?!

Two.On Wednesday, I treated my sister to a Spa Day! We went to one of my favorite places and relaxed the day away! πŸ™‚

Three.

I mentioned here that I love doing Christmas shopping in July. (Hallmark’s Christmas in July puts me in the spirit for a little!) What are some of your favorite stocking stuffers? I’m stuck and figured asking everyone on here is always so helpful!

Four.

I bought these last week and have loved putting these on top of smoothies. I’m also thinking of making some bites or bars with them! You can buy them, here!

Five.I’ve also been putting Maca Powder into my smoothies. It helps with energy and has a ton of other perks! You can read about it and buy it here!

Friday Favorites

This week has been so fun! It was such a good balance of relaxation and productivity. I love that. πŸ™‚

I switched things up a little today and listed five books I’ve been browsing through lately. Some I have read cover to cover and other’s I’ve only browsed, but love what I see. It’s a modge podge, so get ready! Β Here you go! Happy Friday ladies! Enjoy!

One.I picked this book up in FebruaryΒ but only recently read it front to back. Let me tell you…it’s amazing. Barbara is completely inspiring and encouraging the entire way through!

Two.

I went to Barnes and Noble the other day and read some of this this book. I admire Axe’s philosophy on eating and medicine and most likely will be purchasing this book soon. I feel like it’s one of those books that will be helpful to have and reference a loooot! πŸ™‚

Three.I read Message in a Bottle on the plane in just two days because I couldn’t put it down…and we we’re on a plane so I didn’t exactly have a lot of other options. πŸ˜‰ I was definitely crying by the end and probably looked completely ridiculous doing but it was just so good. πŸ™‚

Four.

This book was really inspirational as it goes back to the basis of being a beginner teacher. As summer comes to a closer sooner than later, it what a nice refresher and a great perspective.

Five.

This book. This girl. Her philosophy. I love it and I’ve only scratched the surface of reading it.Β

Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments!

In case you missed the recaps of our vacation, you can check them out below!

Capri. Tuscany. Florence.

Friday Favorites

It’s the first week back from vacation, and I went from feeling completely on to of things to completely behind on everything! Am I the only one that feels this way?

But it’s Friday, and I have some favorites to share! Here we go! Grab some coffee and energy bites to power through to the weekend friends!

One.

First thing’s first. We might be ordering this in the very near future because we fell in love with espresso. Of course it tasted extra delicious in Italy but I’m thinking it might be a fun memory whenever we sip it at home? Does anyone own one? Recommendations?

Two.

Before we left for Italy, I was doing a lot of research on Collagen PeptidesΒ and how it helps your body. Fast forward to Italy, and although we ate some amazing food, we ate a lot of pasta and bread that my body isn’t used to. I decided to get my butt right back into gear after we got home and I ordered some! It promotes youthful skin, healthier hair, and stronger nails, while keeping your bones strong and healthy.

It comes in powdered form, which was perfect for putting into two (one. two–on this smoothie I left out the protein powder) of my smoothies this week. You can’t even taste it! I’m going to try using it while baking next week also! So far, I love it! You can buy it here! Send me a message if you have any other questions! πŸ™‚

Three. It’s our second anniversary on Monday, so we have a nice little weekend planned to celebrate! Gosh, I love him! But the real anniversary gift for us was Capri! You can see the post here! I’ll be recapping Tuscany and Florence next week!

Four. You can see my best recipes here! My Homemade Lemon Larabar recipe is by far my most popular pinned recipe! You can follow me on Pinterest and see the recipe here!

Five.

My best friend got me a tea towel at a local store (she knows me well!) that has little manners written all over it. Plus, it has a linen texture, which I love! This isn’t the exact one she got me but it’s the closest I could find and wanted to share! You can buy it here! Isn’t it cute?!

Happy Friday everyone!! Have the best day!
