Tousled hair that hasn’t been washed. Sun-kissed skin and no make-up. The oven constantly being filled with goodness. The flicker of a candle, an afternoon pick-me-up smoothie, or that second cup of coffee. It’s that extra five minutes of devotional time, extra twenty minutes of sleeping in, and a nap because you can.
It’s only been a few days but this summer pace has me smitten. A much slower pace. A present over perfect summer is in store. Being with the ones I love and having a few more minutes of silence, relaxation, and restoration. I think my mind, body, and soul needed this more than I even realized and I am oh so thankful.
The sun is shining and the birds are singing! I just love you Friday! As always, I’m linking up with Erika, Narci, and Andrea!
One.I love this company. I love the people. I love the products. AND…they are launching their Summer Boho Jewelry line today! I love every. single. item. Ahhh! You can see the entire collection, here!
Two.I’ve made this so much this week that it’s getting added to the favorites list. No shame.
Three.
After wearing these (similar) for almost every single wedding I’ve been in and again this weekend, I realized they are a favorite. They’re the perfect mix of simple and classic.
Four.
Sleep, sleep and more sleep. 🙂
Five. A sweet friend gave me this book the other day and I am obsessed! I’ve already read through half of it! Buy it, here!
I love slow mornings just as much as productive ones. I love being spontaneous as much and I love routine. I love new creations as much I love go-to’s. The other morning I tried my hand at mixing some flavors together and embracing the unknown of how it would turn out. This is 100% Eric’s forte more than mine. That being said, after the first bite I think I gave him a run for his money. 😉
In a small pan, melt the butter on medium heat. Add three fourths of the green onions. Stir until they are slightly browned. Add the egg over the green onions in the pan. Toast the Ezekiel bread. Once it is toasted, spread the Vegenaise onto the toast, followed by the avocado. Use a fork to slightly press the avocado into the toast. Place the cooked egg and green onions on top of the toast. Place one tablespoon of ketchup onto the egg and sprinkle the remaining uncooked green onions on top. I use a forked to eat it and savor every bite!
Stranded on an island with Shay, Erika and 3 Netflix series of my choice?! Not too shabby. 😉
Gilmore Girls
If I’m stranded on an island, I’m going to need a feel good show and Gilmore Girls would be just that! Lorelai, Rory, and the entire crew would have me laughing, crying, and I have no doubts that Shay would be joining me. 😉 #lukeandlorelaiforever Â
Chopped
I’m going to need some serious inspiration on how to make random concoctions taste amazing with the food around me. 😉 I love watching the different techniques that people use to create a fun dish!
Fixer Upper
How could I not bring Chip and JoJo along on a stranded island? Even if it’s via Netflix. Let’s hope whenever I’m off the island, I will have a million decorative ideas for when I get home. 😉
There you have it! Three girls. Three shows. Happy Wednesday!
I’ve tried to downsize my bag/purse which means minimizing the items in there as well. Easier said than done. 😉 Other than my cell phone and occasional bobby pins that get thrown in there, I have some staples that I don’t like to leave without. Here’s a peek in my bag for your Tuesday! 🙂

What are some of the things you can’t leave the house without?!
Just in case you missed previous Show and Tell Tuesdays…
