It was a week after Eric proposed. We were in awe of God’s plan and extremely thankful for the timeline set in front of us. We had our ducks in a row because this wasn’t exactly something that came out of a nowhere. We talked for months about what building a life together would look like. We were fortunate enough to have a lot of things since we both lived on our own for awhile but definitely had some things that would be helpful to start a home for two. We are both practical people. We don’t need a lot but we prefer quality over quantity any day. We were at Target (and later on Williams-Sonoma) with the scanner in our hands and realized the possibilites were endless. 😉 Fast forward a year and a half later and we use everything we registered for. No lie. Everything.

Some of the items we received are simply conducive to our style and work great in our space. Then there are the items that no matter your hobbies or style, should appear on your wedding registry. These are things that come in handy for any household, anytime, any day.Kitchen-Gadgets1. KitchenAid Mixer/ 2. Spiralizer/ 3. Bella Juicer/ 4. KitchenAid Food Processor/ 5. Vitamix

Happy, happy Friday everyone!

Infused Water

On the summer days that are quickly approaching, I’m going to try my best to savor all the moments. What I love the most about summer is the simplicity of it all. I’m trying to soak up every sound, feeling, and flavor. After an intense workout or a lazy afternoon by the pool, a little somethin’ somethin’ in your H2O can be a party for your taste buds. Infusing water with staples around the house and mixing and matching summer flavors awakes all the senses. Summer is so beautiful and your water can be equally as a pretty with just a smidge of effort. Slicing and dicing fruit into your water infuses such beauty and makes it seem even more vibrant and fragrant in the summer months.
