Show and Tell: Advice
I’m linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday: Advice edition! What advice would I give my high school self? Here you have it! ๐
Let me start off by saying I loved high school. I really did. I had a loyal group of friends, great teachers, loved the activities I was involved in, and felt so lucky to have the experience I did. BUT…looking back, there is definitely advice I wish I could have given myself, even though I probably wouldn’t have listened ๐ But it would be worth a try and they are some things I feel so deeply about and I wish I would have known.I would tell myself to read more of my Bible, travel, stop usingย tanning beds, eat real food, exercise for health purposes and not just to be skinny, read more, and keep those standards high. We are always able to choose our choices but we don’t get to choose our consequences.
There you have it! ๐ On a completely different note, did you see my Fish Taco recipe yesterday? You can read all about them and the ah-mazing sauce, here! Happy Tuesday!

I love this. There is SO much advice I would have given my high school self but let’s be honest, my high school self wouldn’t have listened! Crying myself to sleep over the huge jerk who broke my heart who I was convinced I would marry one day… HA! Get over him, the Lord has WAYYYY better coming for you!

Thanks so much Jenn! I think it’s so helpful to think back on it from time to time!
