Four.Yesterday I talked about this restaurant that easily became a favorite of last weekend!
Last weekend, Eric and I went to Cape May. They were calling for rain all weekend but we decided to make the best of it and catch up on some snuggles and reading. As always, one of the things we were most excited about was our reservation at The Ebbitt Room. They are a farm-to-table restaurant with a menu that made my mouth water just reading it.
We dressed up and walked into a dimly lit room with live piano music, the bartender doing his job flawlessly, and an extremely attentive staff. Honestly, they were SO professional, friendly and knew what they were doing. We started with a charcuterie board, wine, and bourbon on the rocks. I proceeded to order Pan Roasted Organic Salmon with Spring Vegetable Fricasse, Sauce Bearnaise and Eric ordered Roasted Duck with Couscous and Spring Vegetables. The food was more than just food, it was an experience.Every bite was worth every penny, and more. It bursted with freshness and flavor, while the portions left you feeling completely satisfied.
What we’re eating this week:Salmon, salmon, and more salmon. I can’t get enough! You can find my recipe, here!

What I’m watching/reading:It’s baaaaack! A group of girls and I usually get together to watch the Bachelor/Bachelorette and last night was no exception. We ate, talked, and filled out our brackets for who we think will make it from week to week. 😉 This book!
Going to the pool as much as possible. Prepping for the last week of school. Getting ready to celebrate one of my sweet friend’s getting married next weekend and spending time with this guy as much as possible! The next few weeks are jam-packed with goodness!
What I’m looking forward to next month:SUMMER BREAK!
What else is new:
Eric plays on our church softball team and I try to make it to at least one game a week. It definitely changes our schedule and it is completely new to me. Other than that, same old, same old!
Bonus Question: What are you looking forward to this summer?
Does anything and everything count?! Summer is my favorite season. Slower and longer days. Sunshine. Summer food. Grilling. The pool. The beach. I’ll stop now. 🙂
I’m linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesdays! Today, we’re talking all about our favorite vacations! I have been extremely blessed with the opportunity to go on a lot of vacations that were nothing short of amazing. One of my all time favorite vacations though was a girls trip in the midst of studying abroad in Greece. I talk about Greece like it’s my job but I don’t technically consider it a vacation since I lived there. 😉 A few weeks after arriving in Greece, Mace and I decided to go to the fashion capital of the world: Milan, Italy. We were instantly in awe with all it had to offer. The architecture, language, shopping, food and atmosphere were incredible and we had every intention of soaking up every inch!We ate, drank, shopped, painted, got pampered, and loved life. We made friends, learned about life in Milan and loved every second of it. It is consistently a vacation that appears in my memory when I think of a favorite and I am so, so thankful!
You know that dress? The one that is delivered to your doorstep, you try it on, you instantly fall in love and think of 100 different events you will wear it to? Yeah, that one. 🙂 Between summer, bridal and baby showers, wineries, weddings, and beach trips, my mind went crazy about all of the places this dress would be perfect for. It’s simple and sweet. Complimentary, yet not too “over the top.” It’s a win all around and when your hubby and you both like it, I count it as a double win. 😉 I also love it in yellow, here! I paired it with all of the accessories below!
