Infused Water
On the summer days that are quickly approaching, I’m going to try my best to savor all the moments. What I love the most about summer is the simplicity of it all. I’m trying to soak up every sound, feeling, and flavor. After an intense workout or a lazy afternoon by the pool, a little somethin’ somethin’ in your H2O can be a party for your taste buds. Infusing water with staples around the house and mixing and matching summer flavors awakes all the senses. Summer is so beautiful and your water can be equally as a pretty with just a smidge of effort. Slicing and dicing fruit into your water infuses such beauty and makes it seem even more vibrant and fragrant in the summer months.

We usually do lemon and strawberries here. I haven’t added blueberries because I never felt like the blue berry flavor ever came through (without maybe cutting the blueberries before putting them in the infuser).

Lemon and mint is a go-to for me. I also love cucumber-infused water in the summer – it’s so refreshing!
