Today I’m doing a fun recipe swap with Natasha from Hello! Happiness! Perfect timing for the holiday weekend, right?! I love how simple and festive this recipe is!
Ingredients:
1 Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough (yes, the kind that come pre-packaged in a log and read to slice)
Kiwi
Blueberries
Strawberries
2 cups of Confectioner’s Sugar
8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
1 tsp. Vanilla
Directions:
Slice and bake cookies as directed on package. Let cool. Cut and slice fruit. Mix together confectioner’s sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla and ice each cookie. Top with fruit and enjoy!
Basically a beach cover up or my summer style here and here!
What I’m doing this weekend:
We have a Fourth of July party and I’ll most likely be wearing something festive like this!
What I’m looking forward to next month:
Our anniversary!
What else is new:
Not a lot and I am completely fine with that!
Bonus Question: What is your favorite July 4th tradition and/or recipe?
We don’t exactly have traditions other than spending time with friends and family each and every year. I love that. Simple and fun. 🙂 I definitely love festive July 4th food but I also love picnic food which leads me to my favorite picnic dish…here!
How is it almost July?! The month of all reds, whites, and blues never cease to be fun to dress up or down. Whatever your style or plans, these are sure to tickle your fancy this fourth of July! xxoo
One.On Saturday, Eric and I had a date night at Terrain at Styers. We sat outside under the lights, ate amazing food, and talked all about life. It was perfect. 🙂
Two.
I have been trying to wash my hair a lot less to help it grow and stay healthy. Someone mentioned that corn starch can help with any grease after a few days! I’m here to tell you… it definitely works! I sprinkle a little in my hair and it feels like I just washed it.
Three.
I have been in love with all the summer flavors lately. What are some of your favorites and what types of recipes do you like seeing the most?!
Four.Pool days are wholeheartedly a favorite. 🙂
Five.
Speaking of the pool…I finished this book yesterday as I was sunbathing and hoped no one saw the few tears sneak out of my eyes. Such a good book!
