It was a week after Eric proposed. We were in awe of God’s plan and extremely thankful for the timeline set in front of us. We had our ducks in a row because this wasn’t exactly something that came out of a nowhere. We talked for months about what building a life together would look like. We were fortunate enough to have a lot of things since we both lived on our own for awhile but definitely had some things that would be helpful to start a home for two. We are both practical people. We don’t need a lot but we prefer quality over quantity any day. We were at Target (and later on Williams-Sonoma) with the scanner in our hands and realized the possibilites were endless. 😉 Fast forward a year and a half later and we use everything we registered for. No lie. Everything.
Some of the items we received are simply conducive to our style and work great in our space. Then there are the items that no matter your hobbies or style, should appear on your wedding registry. These are things that come in handy for any household, anytime, any day.

We have a few things we got that we don’t use very much. A friend had recommended the Ninja cooking system and we hardly ever use it so it just takes up space in our cabinets. Other than that, we do use a lot of the other items like the food processor, and our blender that we got!
