Holiday Checklist

I think I’ve gotten a handle on how to accomplish all things holiday (specifically Christmas) the last few years. Two years ago, I started buying Christmas gifts in the summer since I had some more time. When the holidays rolled around, I felt like I could truly enjoy even more of it because I wasn’t running around like crazy, and I love that. 🙂

One.

Plan, Plan, Plan. My first piece of advice is to plan. Have a list (or five) and check them off as you go! A fun to-do list like (this) can be that extra push you need for the holidays. 🙂

Two.Ask. Throughout the year I ask people I’m going to be buying gifts for about things they are loving or how they would describe themselves at this season of life. Let’s be honest, something you wanted five years ago is most likely not on your list this year. 😉

Three.Relax and remember the reason for the season. Being thankful at Thanksgiving (and all year) along with the true meaning of Christmas is such a special time of year. Spending quality time with friends and family is so much more memorable than a new watch or bag. Put on your PJ’s, light a candle, grab a blanket, and pour yourself some hot cocoa with the ones you love because in the end, being with them is what really what matters. 🙂

Happy Wednesday friends!
