Friday Favorites

This week was c-r-a-z-y but you can always find me linking up with Erika, Narci, and Andrea for my Friday Favorites. 😉

One.

I’ve heard coconut oil is a great make-up remover but was so hesitant to try it. On Monday I bit the bullet and tried it! OH MY WORD! It works like a charm, smells amazing (coconut is one of my favorite smells), and is all natural. Best of all, I got a massive jar at Costco for my homemade granola and now have multiple purposes for it. You can’t beat the price or the result!

Two.A friend had mentioned how great this book is! Within one click I ordered it, and two days later it was at my door. Thanks Amazon prime. 😉 I can’t wait to read it!

Three.

Rompers galore! You can read my entire post here! They are a favorite.

Four.

A had a hair appointment that was way overdue. It’s the little things. 🙂

Five. How cute is this dress?! I’m teaming up with Pink Blush on Monday to share some of my favorites with you! Plus, there’s a giveaway so be sure to check back! 😉

I hope you’re Friday is quick and lovely!

The end of the school year is quickly approaching (T-10 days, but who’s counting?!) 😉 I love when students pay attention to my favorites things throughout the year: my favorite color, food, that I’m a coffee drinker, etc. Gifts are by NO means expected but it sure does make me go into giddy school-girl mode when students arrive with a bag of goodies. It’s thoughtful and oh so sweet! These are things I hope to give back to my kid’s teachers someday. Remember how far a simple gift can go! Happy Thursday!

I remember strolling through the streets of Greece, walking into a corner store with a romper on my mind. I was determined to find one the entire time I was there. The weeks were winding down and I still hadn’t purchased one. The store was painted light blue and quiant. The owner was sweet and friendly and low and behold, on the rack was an adorable light and airy floral, strapless romper. It fit perfectly and was unlike anything I owned. Every occasion that arose that summer had me reaching for the romper again and again. Thus began my love for rompers. 😉

I have three that I already purchased that I plan on wearing for certain occasions. So comfortable. So light. So effortless and gorgeous. Here are some of the cutest ones I’ve found this season!

Deserted Island + Books

Stranded WithIf I we’re stranded on a deserted island with Shay and Erika, I’d most likely be laying in the sun (using some of my medicine cabinet items) and reading one of these three books!

2016-05-07_0003

The Flavor Bible: I got this as a gift and love it, I just haven’t had the chance to read all of it. If I’m stuck on an island, I will definitely have plenty of time to read it, and maybe it would give me some inspiration of how to make a great concoction from something on the island?! My hopes are too high.

The Bible: In all seriousness, there are so many wonderful and powerful things about God’s word but if I’m stuck on an island, you better believe I’m clinging to every verse about hope!

Bittersweet: I’ve talked about this book several times and how much I could read it over and over again! It would definitely make the list of books I would bring if I were stranded on an island.

I can’t wait to read your list of books and add some to my summer reading list! 🙂

Happy Wednesday!

Posts to come….
