Well…I had my last glimpse of summer this week. I could cry but I’ll keep it together. (I wish I was kidding). We have a rehearsal dinner, wedding, and travel in the works this weekend and then I’ll finalize some school things on Monday before my big 5th graders arrive on Tuesday! Phew!
We had sneak-a-peak last night at school and I got to see some of my students! I love those nights! 🙂
Two.In case you missed my post here or on Instagram, House of Belongingwas generous enough to offer 15% off any order over $100 or more. Use code: spring15. 🙂
Three. My Orange Fluffy smoothie is the perfect taste to the end of summer. 🙂 Plus it includes these, which you know I love!
You know what? School doesn’t start until Tuesday, so I’m praising God for a four day weekend!
Here’s the deal. A LOT of you clicked and commented on this USB diffuser. So naturally, I thought one lucky winner should get one! Right?! You know the drill. Enter the rafflecopter below for a chance to win one in any color of your choice!
The giveaway will last one week and I will announce the winner Monday, August 28th! Good luck and happy Friday everyone! xo
This week was BUSY! Busy, busy, busy! Between errands, school prep, and trying to set my alarm much earlier…I cannot believe it is the last full week of summer!
BUT, it’s Friday and we have a date night planned and a fun weekend ahead! All is well in life. 🙂
On Tuesday we had family friends over who we don’t see the often. We caught up, ate pizza, and played some games. Who remembers the game Taboo?! I have not played it in FOREVER and we all were dying laughing! So much fun! 🙂
Eric is on our church softball team (which I think I mentioned before?!) and they have made it to the championship this year! It is such a fun group of people and I loved watching their final games this week! 🙂
I debated about mentioning this but I couldn’t help it. A few months ago I bought this USB diffuser to use in the car, since I have a long commute during the school year. In my mind, I mainly thought that is where I would use it. Until..I brought it to school with me this week. I put it in my computer as I was doing work and loved the scent. 🙂 I plugged away on my laptop as it diffused right there and I was in love! Also, aren’t the colors so cute? 😉
I did find sometime though to update my shop page and it lists a TON of my favorite things!
Throughout my blog I scattered some of my very favorite products. However, I thought it would be fun to compile them all together in one place for everyone to access to them. If you simply click on the picture, it will take you directly to the product. Almost all the links (if not all?!) are via Amazon. Eric and I looooove Amazon Prime and if you don’t have it, you should definitely consider getting it! I will occasionally update it with new things but I included an array of products that I have on hand. One of my favorite things that I added was what’s in our pantry. I love seeing ingredients people use regularly. 🙂
Of course if you have any questions, send me an e-mail or leave a comment on here! You can check out the shop page HERE and it will always be available on my home page…
Happy Friday everyone! In case you didn’t have breakfast yet and need an idea…here you go!
And for all the teachers out there, I hope you are soaking in every last minute of free time! 🙂
This week was strange. It was hot and humid one day, then overcast and felt like a fall day the next! But it’s Friday and we have a fun weekend ahead with friends and family. 🙂
Alright blondes…I need your opinion! There have been a few lovely ladies I’ve talked to lately who have mentioned they use purple shampoo and conditioner. It helps hold your blonde in a lot longer without fading. I loooove the sound of this! Has anyone tried it? If so, what are some of your favorite brands? I’ve heard Joico’s shampoo and conditioner are great?!
Two.On Wednesday, I treated my sister to a Spa Day! We went to one of my favorite places and relaxed the day away! 🙂
I mentioned here that I love doing Christmas shopping in July. (Hallmark’s Christmas in July puts me in the spirit for a little!) What are some of your favorite stocking stuffers? I’m stuck and figured asking everyone on here is always so helpful!
I bought these last week and have loved putting these on top of smoothies. I’m also thinking of making some bites or bars with them! You can buy them, here!
Five.I’ve also been putting Maca Powder into my smoothies. It helps with energy and has a ton of other perks! You can read about it and buy it here!
This week has been so fun! It was such a good balance of relaxation and productivity. I love that. 🙂
I switched things up a little today and listed five books I’ve been browsing through lately. Some I have read cover to cover and other’s I’ve only browsed, but love what I see. It’s a modge podge, so get ready! Here you go! Happy Friday ladies! Enjoy!
One.I picked this book up in February but only recently read it front to back. Let me tell you…it’s amazing. Barbara is completely inspiring and encouraging the entire way through!
I went to Barnes and Noble the other day and read some of this this book. I admire Axe’s philosophy on eating and medicine and most likely will be purchasing this book soon. I feel like it’s one of those books that will be helpful to have and reference a loooot! 🙂
Three.I read Message in a Bottle on the plane in just two days because I couldn’t put it down…and we we’re on a plane so I didn’t exactly have a lot of other options. 😉 I was definitely crying by the end and probably looked completely ridiculous doing but it was just so good. 🙂
This book was really inspirational as it goes back to the basis of being a beginner teacher. As summer comes to a closer sooner than later, it what a nice refresher and a great perspective.
This book. This girl. Her philosophy. I love it and I’ve only scratched the surface of reading it.
Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments!
