Friday, Friday, Friday, I love you! We had such a great week and such a fun weekend ahead filled with friends, family, and headed to a wedding!

One.I needed nude sandals for a wedding that I’m in! Since I know I’m probably not the only bridesmaid out there searching for nude sandals, (since it’s a popular color for this time of year and weddings!) I thought I’d share these sandals. They are really inexpensive and comfortable. 🙂

Two.I ordered the scent, Nag Champa, the other week from Antique Candle Works and guess who likes to burn this candle all the time? Eric! He loves it! 🙂

Three.

Speaking of…

…one my my goals was so visit people at work this summer since I always wish I could during the school year. Eric and I got lunch together on Thursday and it was one of my favorite parts of the week. 🙂

Four.Be sure to check back tomorrooooow for the recipe to my Salmon Salad with a Spicy Avocado and Cilantro Dressing! It is so different than anything I’ve ever created before! 🙂

Five.

Bob’s Red Mill was so kind to give one lucky winner a $50 gift card to stock your kitchen with all their goodies! You can enter here and be sure to check out how I use their products!

Love you all and have a sunny weekend! xo

Happy, happy Friday everyone! This week has been hooooot and beautiful! I hope (the beautiful part) is the same where you are!

One.I picked this up at Target the other day because I have friends who rave about it. It’s been so nice to put on right before I go to the pool since it has SPF in it.

Two.In the last two weeks, I have made two big bowls of this chicken salad, just for Eric and I. We love it! We’ve had it by itself, on croissants, and on salads. It is so tasty!

Three.

I had a hair appointment this week and told her to go extra blonde. I felt like I was at home all over again. 😉

Four.Speaking of getting my hair done…this spray is magical. I have talked about it before but stopped using it for  a little bit because I just forgot to reorder it. I bought some again yesterday and love it even more. It gets rid of so many tangles and works like a charm!

Five.Brittany completely convinced me to buy this dress and I’m so excited for it to arrive today!  I’m thinking of wearing it in Italy or any summer night? I ordered it in the navy blue. 🙂

Well, the first full week of summer is in the books! It was a busy, relaxing, and fun week! 🙂 I hope you and your family have the best weekend ahead!

One.I used to own a frother that was similar to this. But one night I got over ambitious and it didn’t end well. 🙁  After making matcha tea this weekend, I really wanted to order another one and try it out. This one got great reviews and works like a charm. Plus, it’s so inexpensive! It just makes your average cup of coffee or drink extra fun. 🙂

Two.So many feelings in one little post right here. 🙂 These rings are a new favorite.

Three.

As I started to compile some more recipes for an e-book…I wanted to ask all of you what you want to see the most. Main dishes? Side dishes? Snacks? Drinks? Leave a comment or message me with which you want to see the most of!

Four. This candle seriously smells like my Mom’s kitchen..and now mine too. 🙂 Antique Candle Works did it again. I love their candles!

Five.On Wednesday, I went to target to pick up five things and couldn’t find hardly any of them. So what did I do? Naturally I went to the clothing section and stuck a few things in my cart. Ha! I love my military vest and wear it a lot, so when I saw a similar version of it in jacket form, I had to get it. Bonus: It was on sale for $7! I couldn’t find the original one online but it was a combo between this and this! Hopefully your local Target carries it also! 😉 If not, check out these cute ones: One. Two. Three.

Today is the last day of school! I am SO ready and cannot believe it is actually here! 🙂

One.If you watch my Instagram stories you have seen my love for matcha lately. I ended up getting this brand because it got great reviews and is organic matcha. (Which is really important for the nutritional value). I was a little uneasy about trying it but it turns out I have had it every morning this week in place of my coffee!

I’ve heated up a little water, coconut milk, a teaspoon of matcha, and a tablespoon or honey. It’s delicious!

Two.I know I talked a few weeks ago about all these one piece swimsuits:

One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten. Eleven. Twelve….

…and then I came across this one. 🙂 I love all the ones I linked to but also can’t wait to get this one in the mail!

 Three.

I plan on laying by the pool tomorrow which is one of my favorite things!

Four.My Brighten-your-day Smoothie!

Five.Earrings / Charm Bracelet / Nautical Bangle / Sandals / Dress / Necklace / Ring

Last year I talked about my summer style a few times. As I’m headed to CT for the weekend for a bridal shower, I realized some of summer staples still remains the same and my favorites. Of course I have added a few new pieces for the summer that I am really excited about but I also love a long, black dress. 🙂

Happy Friday! I hope it’s the best one yet! 🙂

A three day weekend is on it’s way…so that takes the cake for my number one favorite this week! Also, we only have four and half days of school left…which means I get to take a more serious (and closer) look at my Summer Bucket List! I cannot wait! There are definitely a lot of other goodies on my list this week though and I could really use your opinions!

Two.Last weekend we headed to VA to help Marian (Miss Mustard Seed) at Lucketts Spring Market. I felt so blessed to be able to go on this trip to experience all it had to offer. It is held at a fairgrounds with live music, yummy food vendors, and more than 200 Vintage Vendors on the East Coast. One of Marian’s readers offered their Bed and Breakfast (Zion Springs) to her and the people helping her out. It was SO gorgeous! I’m ready to go back in a heartbeat! It had beautiful land and the sweetest owners ever! Seriously, they are so gifted in hospitality. The breakfast and everything was top notch and I felt like I was in a little dream world staying there.

The entire weekend was so fun! Marian recapped her time here, here, and here! I also posted a few more pictures from the weekend, here!

Three.

The Mountain Between Us

Last week, I was talking to one of my student’s parents. She was telling me all about the author, Charles Martin and how much she loves him. She spoke so highly about his writing style and stories. I’m thinking of adding some of his books to my list for the summer. Has anyone read them?

Four.

Thursday was a rough day at work. I took one big sigh of relief when I hopped into the car on my way home because I was headed to get a massage. Lord knew I needed one! There you have number 4!

Five.

I debated whether to post about this because I couldn’t decide if I really should splurge and get one. I haven’t looked into Apple Watches a lot but I am looooving what I’m hearing and I really think I’m in store for a new watch. 😉 I’m thinking it would be ideal to have before Italy since it serves so many purposes! My questions for you are:

1. What do you know about the product? Comment with the good, the bad, and the ugly.

and….

2. Which style and color do you like best from below?

Happy Friday AND Memorial Day weekend everyone!  xo
