Show and Tell + Must-Have Christmas Recipes

There are three must-have recipes that stick out to me each Christmas and I hope you find them on your table this holiday season!
Spinach Dip and Soda Bread-- Recipe at: Stephanie-spring.comEvery year at Christmas, I serve this and it disappears quickly. 😉  It’s a crowd-pleaser and easy! Peppermint Bark--Recipe at: Stephanie-spring.comI have mentioned this several times but it bares repeating. Peppermint bark is my love language. It’s a great gift, appetizer, dessert, or whatever your heart desires! My friend actually text me this week and told me she made more for a party because it was so easy. 🙂Homemade Hot Chocolate--Recipe at: Stephanie-spring.comMy hot chocolate recipe is something that is near and dear to my heart. 🙂 We grew up drinking this hot chocolate and it easily brings back a flood of memories. Tip: Add peppermint mocha creamer for some peppermint hot chocolate flavor or peppermint essential oil.

Happy Tuesday! I hope your holiday week leading up to Christmas is extra special. xo

His New Favorite Timepiece

JORD watches JORD watches JORD watches JORD watches JORD watches JORD watches The very first Christmas Eric and I were together, we had only been official for a month. One month. What’s a girl to get a guy that she adored beyond her wildest dreams for Christmas? I searched high and low and time was ticking before the 25th. Considering he mentioned wanting a new watch and thinking he would look ridiculously good wearing one, I took the plunge and bought him one. His eyes lit as he slowly unwrapped it, realizing what was inside. It became his favorite and something he has worn consistently for the last four years.

Fast forward to this Christmas and it feels like the perfect time to add a new and unique timepiece for his wrist. I picked out this men’s watch from JORD wood watches for Eric. It’s classic with a modern and sophisticated design that I knew he would love! The wood is from all around the world and creates the ideal present to sneak into his stocking for the holidays.

To the guy who works harder than anyone I know, consistently puts others before himself, and won my heart with his breakfast-making skills; here’s a small thank you for you this Christmas. I wouldn’t be who I am today without you and cherish every minute we spend together. JORD watches

Friday Favorites

Wow. We made it to Friday. This week was jam-packed and exhausting. BUT I’m getting together with my best friends tonight and Christmas is so close. Life is good. Tea Towels/ Bundt Cake Pan/ Nars Lips/ Dolce and Gabana Perfume/ OPI Nail Polish/ Sunglasses/ Earrings/ Boots/ F.A.B. Face Cleanser/ Victoria’s Secret Pajamas/ Lavanila/ Hat and Scarf Combo/ Mia Cleanser/ Hunter Boots/ Hoop Earrings/ Wine Glasses/ Bare Minerals/ Christmas Spirit Essential Oil/ 12 Benefits/ 2017 Planner/ Marker Pens

Today I decided to compile an assortment of my favorites for you in one post. It’s a Holiday shopping guide if you will?! Instead of the traditional five or so things listed, I created a pile of goodies that will be fun to treat yourself or a friend. Of course you could always send a few last minute subtle hints to someone about the lovies above. 😉

I couldn’t resist adding these to the list. This weekend is calling for snow and double chocolate peppermint cookies should be on your to-do list. 😉

Pay It Forward

When it comes down to it, Christmas isn’t about the twinkle lights, tinsel, or multitude of gifts. It really is about Him; Jesus. This Christmas season, I’m participating in the Pay It Forward campaign for the gift that keeps on giving. We are extremely blessed and taking a moment to recognize that in the midst of the holiday crazies is a valuable lesson for us all. Thanks to Stonyfield yogurt, I am donating $50 to my sponsor child’s family in Peru. This will help them purchase food or supplies for their home. Whether it’s to a local charity or a family on the other side of the globe, there is always a way to give back and pay it forward. May God bless your family and may you bless another one.

Deserted Island + Christmas Movies

Christmas movies have been playing non-stop since before Thanksgiving even rolled around this year. I have no shame about it. Not one bit. 🙂 It puts me in the best mood and makes our home feel extra cozy. I love sipping some hot chocolate throughout this season with my feet propped and snuggled in a warm blanket. It’s pure bliss and these classics make the year extra merry and fun! If I were stranded on an island, these would be in tow for some extra Christmas spirit!
